Carin Winter

My passion is guiding people toward healing from stress, fear, worry, and heartbreak by helping them build a deeper, more personal connection with God and Jesus Christ. Through self-reflection, open discussion, spiritual exploration, meditation, and prayer, I support others in discovering peace, purpose, and divine connection.

Together, we create a personalized plan to transform daily life in a positive and lasting way—by cultivating healthy habits, identifying passions, and strengthening relationships. My approach encourages self-love, forgiveness, and balance with God, nature, oneself, and others.

Carin's Background and Experience

Carin has been helping people heal and grow for over 30 years, beginning her journey in college and continuing through decades of dedicated service. In 2003, she launched her first coaching business, driven by a deep calling to support others in finding peace, purpose, and spiritual connection. With a diverse background that includes owning a yoga studio and working as a school social worker in the Islip School District for nearly a decade, Carin brings a wealth of experience to her work. She has helped countless individuals facing anxiety, stress, addiction, and co-dependency, always with compassion and clarity. Carin’s ultimate goal is to guide people toward a deeper, more personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ as the foundation for healing. Through spiritual exploration, prayer, healthy habits, and self-discovery, she empowers her clients to transform their lives from the inside out.

Carin founded and maintained Healing Arts of the South Shore, a private coaching and healing practice, for over a decade. She also founded Embrace Yoga Studio in East Islip, which she led for eight years until moving to Silicon Valley in 2013 to launch a startup.

Since then, Carin has presented at leading institutions including Facebook, The White House, The Palo Alto VA Hospital, The Mountain View Police and Fire Departments, Singularity, Tiger 21, AmeriCorps, The California Institute of Integral Studies, The New York Open Center, The Omega Institute, Wisdom 2.0, The Assemblage, Santa Clara University, Menlo College, St. Joseph’s College, and Long Island University. She also served as a substitute teacher and guest lecturer in the Stanford University Psychology Department.

Carin has served as the CEO of Mission Be since 2013, bringing mindfulness education to schools and organizations in 28 states and 11 nations. Before that, she spent a decade as a school social worker at Islip High School in New York, specializing in substance abuse and addiction. Carin completed graduate school with the highest honors, Summa Cum Laude, and has decades of experience working with children, parents, educators, and community members.

After 28 years of working in schools, institutions, and professional settings, Carin has come to recognize that there is no greater power or deeper source of healing than our relationship with God.

She is now committed to helping people strengthen their spiritual lives and grow closer to their Creator in order to cultivate peace, courage, and inspiration.

Carin believes that she is not the healer—healing flows through one’s own spiritual fitness and relationship with God.

Please Note: Carin does not provide social work, therapy, or counseling services. Her work is also not a replacement for therapy. She offers spiritual, goal-oriented coaching rooted in faith and in developing a relationship and communication with God, designed to help alleviate suffering and nurture inner peace.

You Are Not Alone

God is always with you. He is ready to listen when you pray, to heal when you are hurting. He has never left you—not once—and He never will. His love is unshakable. He wants His will for your life, and that will is always what is best for you.  you can rest in the love of God.

Prayer and Meditation Work

Each of us needs skills and practices that teach us how to be still—quieting the noise of the world and our own minds—so that we can truly hear God’s direction. When we pause and listen, we are guided toward the highest path of action, one that leads to peace, harmony, and alignment with His will.
